　でも、ま、自分の場合は、いつものようにシゴトの日々です。おかげで、創作も紙出版準備も予定通りのスケジュールで順調に進んでいます。
　翻訳に関しては、紙出版第１陣（＝電子出版第１陣のペーパーバック版）の業務が終わったら再開する予定。早ければ１週間後、遅くても来月半ばには、再開できそうです。
　で、紙出版第２陣は、電子出版第２陣と同じ作品たちを、同時並行で進めることになります。これらの作品たちは、ずっと以前に書いた中編５作・短編１作の合計６作品のうち、必要に応じて手直しした結果、“読むに耐えられる^^;”ようにリメイク等できた作品になります。
　なので、これらの過去作品たちは、“目利きな編集者”の眼で、アプローチできるという点で、いまからすごく楽しみです。
　さて、何作が出版にこぎつけるでしょうか。“にわか編集者”の手腕が問われます（笑）

　きょうは４月２０日日曜日。きょうもシゴトです。貧乏暇なし（笑）

　ところで、シゴトのうち出版業務に関してですが、これについては、電子出版第１陣として２０２１年９月１日に出版した６作品のうち、日本語作品５作品について、いよいよ紙出版（具体的には、AmazonのKDP(Kindle Direct Publishing)によるペーパーバック出版）の準備が整いました。

　このうち、短編と掌編の各１作は合本(がっぽん)となるので、合計４点の紙出版となります。コンテンツ（本文、目次等）は「egword Universal 2」で編集・整形が済んでいて、いつでもPDF原稿に変換できる状態です。

　ということで、あとは、それぞれのカバー（表紙）作りになります。

　これは、コンテンツのページ数が確定すれば、KDP提供の「表紙計算ツール」で、表紙全体の横の長さが決まるので、あとはこれをもとに、表表紙・裏表紙・背表紙に、それぞれ必要な文字やデザインを貼り付けて、最終的にPDFファイルとして保存することになります。

　そんなわけで、これからは、４個の表紙作りに取り組ことになりますが、どれもすでに電子出版しているので、その表紙をもとにサクッと作りたいと思います。

　ほんとは、作画用のフリーAIなんかを使って、ちょっと気の利いカバーをつく思ったのですが、まだ使い慣れてないし、出版時、KDPにAI使用の申告するのも気が乗らないので、既存のものを表表紙に貼り付けて、あとは背表紙にタイトルと作者名と発行所名、そして裏表紙には発行所名と所定のバーコードを貼り付けて、カバー表紙の出来上がりにしたいと思っています。

　となると、スケジュール的には今月いっぱいに仕上がって「出版完了！」になるはずです。ただ、紙出版は初めてのトライなので、初回は拙速にならないよう、慎重に進めたいと思います。

　なので、Amazonからのペーパーバック書籍の出版は５月初旬、GWの期間中ではないかと思います。

　これの作業が完了したら、電子出版も併せて、こちらのブログにも紹介コーナーを設けようと思います。お楽しみに！

　……なあんて、２０２１年９月の電販のときと同じく、そんな奇特な人はいないか＾＾；

　ま、それはともかく、出版第２陣では、電子と紙の両建てで、最大８作品（合本の歌集、数理経済学の書籍各１点を含む）を予定していて、これらは、下地となる原稿は揃っているので、再編集（リメイク）が完了した作品ごとに、随時出版してゆくことになります。

　きょうは４月１５日火曜日。おけかげさまでシゴトは順調に進んでいます。生活の場と仕事場を完全に分けて、ほんと正解でした。仕事場の維持もタダじゃないので、集中できるだるけでなく、そこでも寛いでいたら意味がないので、基本ケチな自分としては、ますます身がはいるというものです（笑）
　ということで、いまはひと仕事終えて、生活の場でブログを書いてます。あしたまでまだ４時間あります。じゃあまたね。

　きょうは４月１２日土曜日。新年度２度目の週末を迎えました。今週半ばあたりから、やっと春らしい気温になってくれたので、ちょっと暮らしやすくなりました。やっぱり春っていいですね。このまま、ずっとこんな感じだといいけれど、今年もそうはいかないでしょうね。
